In Game 2 and Game 3 it was evident that Justin Brownlee has no reliable scoring support from the Brgy Ginebra local players.
Then on Game 4, LA Tenorio and Greg Slaughter answered the call and responded with a stellar display of scoring performance.
Early in the game, both players were seen attacking the basket which were absent in their last two outings where they lost bigtime.
The man who is known as the “GregZilla” delivered 19 points, 8 boards and three swats. His production set the tempo of the Gin Kings enough for them to even the series at 2-2.
“It’s huge,” Slaughter said. “We moved the ball around more, got a lot more people involved and the result was a win.”
LA Tenorio who struggled in Game 3 came back in Game 4 and logged 17 points and six assists.
“We cannot be Justin-reliant, di dapat kami magrely kay Justin sa offense,” Tenorio said. “I mean, he’s been great the whole series but we cannot rely on that. Good thing everyone came out contributing.”
Before the start of the Game 4, the league announced the winners of the Best Player of the Conference and the Best Import.
Justin Brownlee took home the trophy for the best foreign hire this conference while June Mar Fajardo took BPOC trophy.
