The Alaska Aces and the Magnolia Hotshots will resume its Finals series at the Ynares Centre in Antipolo, game time is at 7:00 PM.
The pressure is now switched ON for both squads. The Hotshots will try to close it out with tonight’s victory while the Aces will make an attempt and dodge a bullet to keep their title hopes alive.
Any coaches would probably agree that closing out a game especially a championship series is one of the hardest thing to do. Especially if you’ll be facing a squad which main strength is coming from their defensive tactics.
“Pero hindi madali ang haharapin namin. Alaska is really a tough opponent, and as almost everybody says close-out game is the toughest game to play,” said Victolero.
Yet, the young head Hotshots head coach motivates his troops and consider their tonight’s game as a gift for themselves.
“Ito ang pinaka-magandang regalong pwede namin ibigay sa sarili namin. The opportunity is there, so susubukin namin kunin,” said Magnolia coach Chito Victolero.
For the Alaska camp, 100% they’ll be ready tonight and will do its best to push the series to Game 7 for another do-or-die game.
“Game Seven? We’ll certainly try to do it,” said Alaska coach Alex Compton.
