The Alaska Aces and the Meralco Bolts will be back in the semi-finals stage and this time their match will take place at the Cuneta Astrodome, game time is 7:00 PM.
After playing six straight do-or-die games and taking the victory of their semis opener, the Bolts winning streak has ended to seven.
Can that be a bad news for Meralco? I don’t think so. It only meant that a new winning streak is in the process. The Bolts already prove that and it’s not impossible for them to make a repeat.
“We will go back to the drawing board and see what adjustments are needed in Game Three. It’s important that we come out with more energy and we do a better job rebounding the ball,” said Meralco coach Norman Black.
However, Alaska head coach Alex Compton obviously doesn’t want that to happen and hoping his team will show much bigger desire compared to their opponent in order for them to enter the Finals.
“It’s our attention to detail that was radically different in the first half of the last game. That was horrible,” said Compton. “We had much energy tonight. You can see the spirit of Meralco in the end. Hindi talaga biro at dapat mas maganda ang ipakita namin.”
